It is exceptional for its region and the gin category at the same time: Le Gin de Christian Drouin . As the only one of its kind, it is based on a cider brandy made from around 30 different apple varieties - a lively, fruity distillate that is created after the first distillation process in Calvados production.

In order to best integrate his main ingredients, juniper and apple, Guillaume Drouin macerates and distills the individual botanicals separately. Like putting together a good blend.

The botanicals (with the exception of juniper) belong to the aroma cosmos of premium Calvados: rose and lemon ensure tenderness . Ginger, vanilla, cinnamon and almonds give Le Gin a soft, spicy body , while cardamom enhances its fruitiness and mouth-fullness . Juniper and apple complement each other harmoniously with their heavy or bright, spicy or fresh notes .
