Now Brand Innovator of the Year 2021 Waterford gives individual markets the exciting opportunity to explore their “own” terroir and follow its development over a number of years. Five Single Farm Origins were allocated in Europe on an exclusive basis - to Germany: Tinnashrule: Edition 1.1. The terroir whiskey has its origins in the rain shadow of the Blackstairs Mountains, north of Enniscorthy. Here the hilly lowland barley fields of John Crowley Farms lie in the lee of ash and larch forests and benefit from the well-drained and clayey loam of the highly productive Clonroche series.

Grown, harvested, stored and distilled separately, this barley creates a single malt with complex notes from honey to tangy fruit and dark chocolate to wasabi spice .
