Turntable is the new star in the blended whiskey sky - Starward takes whiskey to new horizons. Now the innovative Scottish blending house and the progressive Australian distillery meet at a latitude on the beach: Turntable x Starward – Collaboration Drop 01 is the first bottling in the new Collaborations series.

Giving the underrated blended whiskey category a strong voice with perfectionism and transparency is Turntable's mission. Always with the aim of composing a harmonious mix that breaks with conventional expectations. To achieve this, the company founded by Alasdair “Ally” and Gordon Stevenson also looks beyond the Scottish distillery horizon. For example to Australia.

Together with Starward, a blended whiskey was created that underlines the character of the Australian single malt from Melbourne, which is typically matured in red wine barrels, and at the same time takes it into new dimensions.

This is achieved by combining maritime Islay smoke from Caol Ila, older grain whiskey from North British and mineral Speyside single malt from Inchgower.

The result combines campfire smoke in a sea breeze with notes of red berries, cigar box spices and coconut.

Two worlds also come together in design. The shiny union is highlighted by luminescent ink on the label.
