Billy Walker once again had the opportunity to demonstrate his great sensitivity for barrels. The living legend sensitively selected and combined puncheons, barriques and pipes to create a new GlenAllachie whiskey cuvée.
The GlenAllachie 2012/2023, bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import, initially matured in barrels made of American white oak. For added depth and complexity, Billy Walker selected an additional three cask types of varying character.
The sweetness of Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheons blends with the delicate, floral aromas of Moscatel Wine Barriques and the dark fruity, nutty notes of Ruby Port Pipes. The result: A lush single malt cuvée with aromas ranging from caramel sauce to plum jam and garden fruits.
