Over 40,000 barrels from more than 90 different Scottish distilleries: this outstanding wooden treasure is the trademark of Murray McDavid. The independent bottler was founded in 1994 by industry giants such as Mark Reynier and quickly made a name for itself with maturation in exquisite barrels. Since 2013, Edward Odim and Dean Jode (Aceo Ltd) have been successfully breathing new life into Murray McDavid - and are now proving this with 17 new bottlings.

For mysterious taste experiences The Mystery Malt series provides this week, for example, with the Safe Haven 8 yo The Single Malt from a distillery founded in 1798 on the West Coast bears the original name of the same – and puts a smile on the face of “peat heads”.
