Nc'nean knows how to go his own way. The woman-run pioneering distillery has already left an impressive mark on sustainable whiskey production. It relies exclusively on renewable energies for production and distills its organic single malt based on 100 percent organically grown Scottish barley. The coastal distillery on the picturesque Morvern peninsula is also the first in the UK to achieve net zero emissions for production - exceeding the Scottish whiskey industry's 2040 target by almost 20 years.

Now Nc'nean is setting a new milestone: the pioneers bottled the core range's organic whiskey at cask strength for the first time - exclusively for the strong fan base in Germany. 4,998 bottles of Nc'nean Organic Single Malt Scotch Whiskey – Cask Strength are available.

It matured in a cask combination identical to the standard, but is bottled undiluted from the 55% STR Red Wine, 43% Bourbon and 2% Oloroso Sherry Casks. Typical notes such as sweet lemon cream, bright ripe fruits such as peach and apricot as well as rye bread with herbal spices develop in a pronounced form at 59.6% vol. Cask Strength.
