For the second time he had the pleasure of creating an individual bottling together with Maker's Mark Brand Diplomat Jan Forsberg and Rachel Forb Harb, who oversees the Private Cask Select program globally. He combined ten oak staves, each with its own unique profile, to create a bourbon whiskey that will never exist again: one Baked American Pure 2, two each of Seared French Cuvée, Maker's 46 and Roasted French Mendiant Staves and three times Toasted French Spice. The bars were hung into the barrel. Our Maker's Mark Private Select matured for nine weeks at 13°C in a cave at the distillery. The result is a pleasure experience characterized by dark sweetness and peanut butter, which also develops delicious spice notes of cinnamon, clove and ginger, suitable for the Christmas season.
