The MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Years Peated was relaunched in 2021 and is a blend of various malts. This whisky is created by Billy Walker, who combines various Islay and Speyside malts with Glenallachie whisky. The blend matures in first fill ex-bourbon casks, PX sherry casks and former red wine casks. The result is a smoky blend with notes of butterscotch, cocoa and peat. The taste features heather, toffee and peat smoke, accompanied by sweet spice and licorice notes. The name "Lang my yer lum reek" is a Scottish expression for a long life, which was adopted for the MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Years Peated. It is bottled with an alcohol content of 46.0% vol., uncolored and unfiltered.
