Coastal smoke meets sherry sweetness:
Ledaig Single Cask for Kirsch customers

Murray McDavid’s trademark? An outstanding treasure trove of casks. From the independent bottler’s exquisite cask stock, we were able to secure a single cask for Kirsch customers that gives Islay malts a run for their money.

In the Ledaig 2011/2025, powerful peated whisky meets sweet sherry influences. The single malt was distilled in 2011 at the smoky branch of the small Tobermory Distillery – located right by the fishing port on the Isle of Mull.

During maturation, Murray McDavid demonstrated their in-house mastery of cask management, finishing the heavily peated whisky in an authentic Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. After a two-year finale, the wild character of the Scottish west coast blends surprisingly harmoniously with the fruity sweetness of the fortified wine.
