The Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish is a unique malt in the maritime Glen Scotia style with fruity notes that take you on a journey to the Caribbean. The finish in Demerara rum casks from Guyana gives it an exotic and tropical aroma. The full-bodied single malt Scotch whiskey was matured in the best American oak barrels. Notes of caramelized sugar and tropical fruits characterize the expressive dram.
Records from 1815 show that rum barrels were traded in the globally connected port of the Victorian town of Campbeltown even before Glen Scotia was founded. This past inspired Glen Scotia to create the new Double Cask with a Rum Cask Finish.
