In Forres, on the north-west coast of Speyside, a small team of passionate distillers has been reviving a lost style of Speyside Single Malts again: voluminous and with a hint of smoke . For this, Benromach uses Highland Peat, Distillers as well as Brewers Yeast, very long fermentation times and exclusively first fill casks , which are stored in traditional dunnage warehouses. And: real handcraft.

The Contrasts series lives up to its name and experiments with single malts that are outside the usual Benromach range.
