The journey of a central ingredient for Ben Nevis whiskey begins at 1,345 meters above sea level : water. As it travels from the summit of Scotland's highest mountain, it filters through peat, flows under granite and over stone - such as the stunning rock formations of Coire Leis. One of two long-awaited original bottlings from the Ben Nevis Distillery is dedicated to the small lake . “Distillery bottlings” only come onto the market sporadically, few of them in Europe. Now there is finally a supply - in a new, minimalist look.
 
Ben Nevis Coire Leis matures exclusively in first fill bourbon casks and is a wonderful single malt for beginners. Oily and creamy, with pear, apricot, caramel and oak spice he shows himself from his characteristic side. And completely without cooling filtration or dye .
