This sublime 19-year-old whisky, matured in a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso sherry casks, is the epitome of an aged Ardbeg. Batch 6 is part of a highly coveted and collectable Ardbeg series and is the latest release. Like the bottles before it, this sublime Traigh Bhan is inspired by Islay’s Traigh Bhan beach.

Ardbeg Traigh Bhan masterfully achieves the impossible - the balance between the calm and the crescendo of its intense aromas. Bottled by the full moon, the tides have turned for this rare Islay malt: it storms the senses with mentholated and herbal notes, while intense smoke lingers in its wake.
