Produktart: Single malt whiskey

Hersteller: High Coast Whiskey / Distributor: Zanzibar Whiskey

Anschrift: Hohle Straße 24, 31542 Bad Nenndorf, Germany

Land: Sweden

Hav is the Swedish word for sea. In the majestic landscape of a World Heritage Site, the High Coast Distillery lies where the beautiful Ångermanälven River flows into the sea. Here the river is about to reach the coast and slowly disappear into the world, just like our single malt whiskey. The message Hav brings to the world is an expression of oak, with a hint of spice and a bit of Nordic harshness. Hav is 76.82% unpeated whiskey and 23.18% peated whiskey. 66.85% was aged for up to 5 months in small Hungarian and Swedish oak barrels and then transferred to bourbon barrels for an average of 6.09 years. 30.84% was matured exclusively in bourbon barrels and 2.67% was finished in 40 liter Hungarian oak barrels. Hav contains no artificial colors and is not cold filtered.
