The Highland Park Distillery is located in Kirkwall on the main island of the Orkney Islands in Scotland, United Kingdom, and is the northernmost whiskey distillery in the country. Its history as Scotland's northernmost distillery began in 1798 when Magnus Eunson began distilling illegally on the premises. The current distillery was built by Robert Borwick in 1825 and received its official license in 1826.

The offering we have here comes from the distillation in 1978. The whiskey then matured in a barrel for 33 years before being bottled in 2011 with an alcohol content of 47.8%.

The bottle and box are in generally good condition.
