It tastes just as beautiful as it looks! The blended rum “ The Beauty ” impresses with its extraordinary and intense aroma. The 42% vol. is wonderfully integrated. The tall, dark bottle with the distinctive label is a real enrichment in terms of appearance and taste on every spirits shelf. There is a special gag built into the back label: the QR code takes you to the so-called “ digital message in a bottle ”. This works just like the message in a bottle that you throw into the sea, only digitally. The 82 Chapters tasting notes :

Let's start with the nosing: This was extremely important to us when creating this rum. And we think we succeeded. A real fruit explosion in a glass. It smells like a finished rum pot, except that we didn't have to add any fruit to give the rum this richness. Our concern was that the fruit note had to be so strong that it wouldn't be lost in the cocktail. By the way, we didn't add any flavors or other stuff. The nosing is a product made from great rums and the best ex-bourbon barrels. The slight sweetness, the notes of fresh herbs and red fruits arose completely naturally.

Taste: As the nose promised, fruits, red fruits and citrus fruits can be found on the palate. Thanks to the slightly increased drinking strength of 42% vol, it is full-bodied and has a good start. We wanted the 42% ABV because we always find the kick lacking in cocktails with 37.5% rum. So the question was, where is the perfect drinking strength that is also suitable for mixing? Of course: 42, the answer to all questions ;-). We find it floral and slightly spicy. We find vanilla notes, slightly sweet, but not so “babby-sweet”. Whiskey drinkers will also have fun here.

Finish: The finish features strawberries, raspberries, mango or in short: pure fruit! There remains a touch of forest honey and of course a slight sweetness again. The more you drink, the more the sweetness comes to the fore.
