The Sauerland distillery sources the apples for the apple brandy exclusively from selected and qualified farmers from the Rheinaue and Lake Constance regions, with a real passion for growing fruit. The apples are cleaned, cored, mashed and then distilled on site. The excellent burning quality results in the special mildness of the apple brandy. By adding apple slices to the barrel during storage, the brandy gets its natural golden color and an exceptional aroma.
