Ein Klassiker, so darf man den Caol Ila 12 nennen. Die Brennerei auf der Insel Islay vor der schottischen Küste ist eigentlich hauptsächlich dafür zuständig, den rauchigen Anteil beim Johnnie Walker dazu zu geben. Einige Fässer werden aber auch als Single Malt abgefüllt, wie dieser 12 jährige der in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern reifen durfte. Ein idealer Einsteiger in die Welt torfiger Whiskys.
