Produktart: Single malt whiskey

Hersteller: Edradour Distillery Co. Ltd.

Anschrift: Pitlochry Perthshire PH16 5JP, Scotland

Land: Scotland

Edradour has been pretty high on the popularity scale of single malt fans since it was taken over by Signatory founder Andrew Symington in 2002. The unadulterated, sometimes very smoky whiskies from the distillery in the Highlands east of Pitlochry are partly still produced using original equipment from the 19th century. For seven new single casks, "Scotland's Little Gem" joined forces for the first time with one of the most renowned addresses for fine wines: the St. Michael-Eppan winery in South Tyrol.

For the prestigious Sanct Valentin series, cellar master Hans Terzer, with around 40 years of experience, selects only top-quality wines. These exquisite grapes produce remarkable wines whose complexity, elegance and minerality are appreciated worldwide. Now also by whisky lovers.

The two Edradour 2012/2023 - Sauvignon Cask #1001 and #1002 matured in twin white wine barrels. With its seductive fruit notes and incomparable minerality, the Sauvignon is the winery's most famous wine.
