Ihren Experimental Grain Whisky bauten John Glaser und Team auf einer Charge Loch Lomond Whisky auf, der spannenderweise kein Grain ist. Er basiert ausschließlich auf getorftem Gerstenmalz, wird aber in der Coffey Still gebrannt. Malt darf man ihn daher nicht nennen. Compass Box umschreibt den Whisky mit Noten von Birne, Vanille und Rauch daher als „Single Grain“. Exotisch-fruchtige Bestandteile von North British, würzig-süßer Single Grain von Cameronbridge sowie der cremige Compass Box Blended Grain Hedonism runden die appetitliche Limited Edition meisterlich ab.

For their luxury blends, the “Whiskymakers” combine high-quality single malt and single grain whiskeys from their own barrel warehouse in Scotland .
John Glaser and his team built their Experimental Grain Whiskey on one batch Loch Lomond whiskey which, excitingly, is not grain . It is based exclusively on peated barley malt , but is distilled in the Coffey still . Therefore you can't call it malt. Compass Box describes the whiskey with notes of pear, vanilla and smoke as “single grain”. Exotic fruity ingredients from North British , spicy-sweet single grain from Cameronbridge and the creamy Compass Box Blended Grain Hedonism masterfully round off the appetizing limited edition .
