This single malt has its own fan base: Starward Ginger Beer Cask #6 is already the sixth edition of the Australian whiskey from the Project series. The reason for the high demand? An experimental barrel combination that provides variety on the palate. The progressive distillery even brews its own beer in-house. The recipe for Starwards Ginger Beer is well kept. Only this much can be revealed: it contains large amounts of ginger, lemongrass and citrus peel . The ginger beer matured for 6 months in Starward whiskey casks - casks full of exciting flavors that Melbournians know how to use.
For a 6-month finish, a fruity blend was previously filled in red wine and Apera barrels, the Australian version of sherry, aged Starward Australian Single Malt, the ginger beer barrels - and makes the mouths of curious connoisseurs water with flavors such as ginger, dark chocolate or orange. Starward Ginger Beer Cask #6 is part of the Starward Projects. In their “laboratory program”, the innovative Australians have room for ideas and new, unique expressions for their single malt.
