Produktart: Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Hersteller: Lochlea Distillery / Distributor: Cherry Whiskey

Anschrift: Mackenstedter Str. 7, 28816 Stuhr, Germany

Land: Scotland

With the “Seasonal Releases” Lochlea reflects what happens on the farm as the seasons change. The Plowing Edition is the first peat-smoky Lochlea bottling - and the first smoky whiskey for John Campbell after Laphroaig. The single malt matured in a combination of ex-Islay casks and peaty quarter casks. The result: A perfect cold season dram with aromas of sweets, baked fruit, nuts and lingering Islay peat. The inspiration for the latest bottling in the annually reissued series was the long winters on the farm where the Scottish national poet Robert Burns lived from 1777 to 1784. It is the season for plowing the fields Burns once farmed in preparation for spring planting. With the ice blue label, Lochlea also reflects the frosty winters on the west coast of Ayrshire. Origin: Scotland, Lowlands Cask Type: Ex-Islay Barrels, Peated Quarter Casks 11,000 bottles (total) 46% vol. 0.7 liters Not chill-filtered Not colored
