Last Christmas, we gave you a dram... And we're doing that again this year: the ElsBurn Cozy Winter IX was bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import customers . The Original Hercynian Single Malt is Christmas market in liquid: with smoked ham and malty sweetness, spice and raisins as well as dark chocolate and almonds, the winter dram is sensorially reminiscent of Christmas delights.

Cozy Winter exudes coziness – just as the name suggests. A combination of liqueur and sweet wine barrels is responsible for the warm reddish brown of the ninth exclusive bottling. The Harz distillers selected first-filled Malaga, Moscatel, Marsala and sherry casks for their winter whiskey .

For a campfire feeling, they filled them with “gently woodsmoked” , i.e. slightly smoky Hercynian single malt. The dram for the cold season was made in natural form - without coloring and chill filtration - and in an aromatic strength of 53.2% vol. brought in just 864 bottles .
