The Ardbeg Heavy Vapors is a remarkable creation that for the first time dispenses with the use of a purifier. Normally this device ensures the harmonious balance between the smoky peat notes and the fruity sweetness that have made Ardbeg so famous. This avoidance shifts the flavor profile and allows for more intense smoky aromas. The distillation process occurs with less reflux, allowing heavy vapors to pass directly into the whiskey. This unique approach led to the name "Heavy Vapors", which is also illustrated by a work of art on the packaging. With an alcohol content of 46.0% vol., this special bottling will be presented exclusively on Ardbeg Day 2023.
